The Mississippi Valley National Invitational Tournament (NIT) is a great Quad Cities event to kick start the season. It is a 3 game guarantee with excellent facilities, umpires, and awards. Our hustle to make sure the tournament is played to completion is probably the main reason we have teams come back year after year. Do not miss this great event.
New for 2012! 1. Since more teams go to the state tournament than a national event, we will pay for the state tournament entry for the winners of each bracket (must have at least 12 teams in pool) 2. Multiple available discounts 3. Money Back if teams do not get their 3rd game in 4. Will be adding the Hitmen Complex to the list of fields being used to allow for more teams in the older ages
The tournament is hosted at some of the best complexes in the Quad City area. Sheridan Meadows Complex in Eldridge, Iowa (just minutes north of Davenport, Iowa) and the Heat facilities in Davenport, Iowa. Sheridan Meadows has 7 baseball diamonds, 2 with lights. The facilities are really nice and the diamonds are perfect size for youth competitive baseball. The 8u, 9u and 10u diamonds are 200 feet to the fences. The 11u teams are using the Heat complex. The 12u teams are going to be at Sheridan Meadows. The 13u - 14u teams will now be using the City Heat Diamond in Davenport and the Hitmen Sports Complex. There is a maximum number of teams limited to each age so enter early.

While you are in the Quad Cities, check out the St. Louis Cardinals Minor League affiliate, the all new River Bandits Friday night and the player will be able to walk out on the field right before the game starts and talk to the players.
