The Quad City Heat baseball club takes baseball to the highest level around teaching kids the complete game of baseball at a young level to better prepare them for their baseball career. The Heat is proud to be the first and longest running competitive baseball club in Davenport.
We have been expanding the number of teams in our organization for the last 4 years and for the 2009 season we will be having a 9u, 10u, 2 - 11u, 12u, 13u, and 14u teams, expanding to one of the largest organizations in the Quad Cities.
Each team in our organization plays roughly 40-70 games each year playing in the Mississippi Valley Baseball League (MVBL website) which gives each team 18 games through the week and then plays some of the best teams from the Midwest in local tournaments on the weekends. The Heat teams also plays at the State tournament and elects to play in the World Series tournaments.
August 2008 The Quad City Heat 9u team was the first Quad City traveling team ever to play in the USSSA ELITE 24 WORLD SERIES, where the top 24 teams in the nation are invited to play (they are just the 2nd team from Iowa to compete).
