Knights Field is a very beautiful field that makes any player proud to be on the Heat.  It is one of the nicest fields around and was even mentioned in Bleacher Beat magazine on its outstanding professional look.  It was built by the Lingle Family, along with support from the community and friends.  It is currently the only field that has been built in the Davenport strictly to accommodate competitive baseball.

The field used to be an old softball diamond that was never used and really ran down, so the Lingle family flipped the diamond around and created a brand new ball diamond for the Quad City Heat in the fall of 2000.

The Quad City Heat would like to thank the following people who donated time, supplies, or energy into the field.  Those persons are:

The Knights of Columbus, The Lingle Family (Bill, Char, Derek, and Travis), The Gorsh Family (Vic, Michelle, and Austin), Vince Motto Jr., Diercks Excavating, Rexco Equipment, Lovewell Fencing,  Dan Niemi, Brian Nagle, Carl Garnica, Kevin Pingel, Mike Conger and to all the others that we failed to mention.

Below are some pictures of the diamond.
